This battle is difficult, primarily because Enyala has a strong detachment of mercenaries and there's little room to work with.
There's also precious little room in which to work, so you're going to find you and your party pretty stagnant during this battle, taking cover in the same areas and working on thinning the enemy troops. This is a VERY important situation because it's possible to lose the Loyalty of one of them here, as well as lock them out of a Romance. The only way to avoid this is to pass a VERY demanding Persuasion Check, but if Romance isn't a concern then it's possible to patch things up afterwards.
If you couldn't pass the Persuasion Check and had to pick one of the right-hand options, things are not over. If you talk to the person you just pissed off, you can use a Charm or Intimidate option to restore their Loyalty status but not a Romance. It still requires a very high Persuasion Check, but it's lower than one in the fight itself.
Another trick is that you can actually belay talking to them until later when you have more Charm or Intimidate Points. Make a Save, talk to them to see if you can pass, and if not, reload the save and play through more of the game to earn more Morality Points so you can try again. Once you have full control on the Normandy, you should make sure to check up with Miranda to see how she's doing. This is important for Male Shepards who want to Romance her: now that you've completed her Loyalty Mission, Miranda will now be open to one.
